I believe that women are innately soft, sensual, creative and powerful — but so many of us have forgotten how to access this precious part of ourselves. This feminine essence nourishes the heart, awakens the spirit and unlocks our greatest potential.
When we align with the ways of the feminine — attuning to the cycles of nature, flowing with the seasons of life, honoring sisterhood and embodying our inner beauty and wisdom, we become more connected, healthy and whole.
Through my work, I support women in reconnecting with their inner wisdom, the cycles of nature, and the beauty of their own soft, tender, intuitive selves. I believe in slow living. In sacred beauty. In the power of ritual to transform our everyday lives into something holy.
I was born at home, raised on a macrobiotic diet, and homeschooled until I was 10. Much of my childhood was spent in yoga and meditation ashrams, as both of my parents were spiritual practitioners. From an early age, I was immersed in the rhythms of inner listening and holistic living.
In college, I majored in World Religion and Eastern Philosophy, then moved to New York City in my early twenties. Like many women, I lost my way — falling into burnout, anxiety, and disconnection.
For the past 15 years, I’ve studied earth-based feminine wisdom, womb healing, priestess temple arts, energy medicine, tea ceremony, plant alchemy, eastern philosophy and devotional ritual. Along the way, the Rose found me — not just as a flower, but as a teacher, mirror and guide.
Since I was a little girl I've been sensitive to energy and could intuitively read people and situations. I experienced everything as energy. I could pick up on things that weren't visible to the eye, but were undeniably present. This was a huge gift on one hand, but also a burden on the other. I've spent the last 10 years masters program learning how to work with energy in a skillful and empowered way to support the healing journey of myself and the women I serve.
My mother gave birth to me at home with the assistance of her doula and midwife. It was a beautiful experience for both of us and was the seed for a deep and sacred bond between them which continues to grow even more beautiful over the years. This inspired me to become a birth doula through Birth Arts International. I also completed my 45-hour prenatal yoga teacher training at Mama Tree with Jane Austin in San Francisco.
In my early 20s I longed for a daily meditation practice but nothing I tried stuck, until Art of Living came into my life. I learned a very powerful breathing technique called Sudarshan Kriya that changed my life. For the past 8 years I've studied closely with the founder of the organization Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, and I have practiced and taught these techniques ever since. I continue to deepen my study of this Vedic lineage by practicing silence for 5 days twice a year, taking courses, practicing the techniques daily and reading ancient texts. I'm so deeply grateful for these gifts.
I was raised eating healthy foods on a macrobiotic diet and quickly learned the powerful healing qualities of clean eating – but I also learned that eating healthy food isn't enough to be a whole, healthy person. It's vital to consider our relationships, career, spirituality and creativity and how they factor into our overall well being. With a passion for wellness, I studied at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to gain the tools needed to guide myself and others toward health and happiness.
I received my 200-Hour interdisciplinary yoga teacher training and 100-hour “Let Your Yoga Dance” teacher training certification through the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica. I am incredibly grateful to my teachers Don and Amba who provided a nurturing environment for me to blossom and grow in new ways through their emphasis on experiential learning and encouragement to look to my own inner wisdom. Their approach to yoga is one of self-inquiry and discovery, and I find myself continuously growing through this daily practice.
The Temple of the Rose emerged quietly over many years through seasons of devotion, heartbreak, healing, pilgrimage and prayer.
I noticed a theme again and again: women craving a way of living that felt sacred yet grounded, mystical yet practical. A desire to feel held, guided and resourced —without needing to abandon their humanity or everyday lives. A hunger to remember the feminine as wise, sovereign and whole.
The Rose came to me as both a symbol and a teacher. A reminder that softness and protection coexist. That beauty can be fierce. That devotion requires boundaries. That true feminine power unfolds slowly, in rhythm and in season.
Temple of the Rose formed as a response to that call.
